Crystal Dash HD is a colorful matching game that utilizes a very simple gameplay mechanic and the same adorable creatures found in HuaXu Culture Creative's other title, Crystal Soul. Matching creatures in Crystal Dash HD is accomplished by placing your finger on an open square on the map, which will pull all like creatures towards each other in a given row and column.
In Rush Mode, you need to match as many creatures as possible in 60 seconds. Taps that don't result in matches will cause you to lose 2 seconds. You have three power-ups at your disposal -- time stop, rearrange, and explosion -- which can be used only once each.
In Survival Mode, you must keep matching until there is no room left to tap. When the timer on the right side of the screen reaches zero, more creatures will be added to the map. Taps that don't result in matches will add two additional creatures. Survival Mode contains the same time stop and rearrange power-ups, but instead of the explosion power-up, you can unleash a lightning storm which will remove all like creatures. All spells have a cool down period, but they can be used multiple times.
Crystal Dash HD features Game Center and OpenFeint integration, and each provide you with separate leaderboards for both modes.
