Fruit Ninja Update Adds New Dojo Blades And A Few Other Juicy Features
February 24, 2011
If the current set of Dojo blades in Fruit Ninja are feeling a little dull, you will be happy to know that Halfbrick has updated their uber popular arcade game with a whole new set to unlock along with a few other new juicy features to enjoy.
The five new unlockable Dojo blades are: Shadow Blade, Pixel Blade, Bamboo Shoot Blade, Party Time Blade, and Piano Blade. The requirements for unlocking them range from achieving a score of 175 in Zen Mode while playing upside down to getting a total of 50 combos in Classic Mode.
Based on the success of Arcade Mode's weekly leaderboards, Halfbrick decided to add them to the Classic and Zen Modes as well. The weekly leaderboards for all modes can be viewed at the end of every game by tapping the left or right arrows on the final stat window.
Fruit Ninja v1.6 also features fast app switching support, allowing you to jump right back into a game after taking a call or answering a text message, and new Game Center achievements, pushing the total to 30.
The new content and features detailed above are now available in both iPhone ($.99) and iPad ($2.99) versions of Fruit Ninja.
