GlassPong (Free) by SiGMA Communications Inc. is a new virtual beer pong game, minus the beer. The developers have utilized the accelerometer to make this app feel as real as possible. The game is simple. Just throw or bounce a Ping-Pong ball into a glass container. Users have 60 seconds to get in as many shots as possible.

The game's scoring system is simple: players earn 1000 points by making the shot and 100 points for merely hitting the glass. Additionally, there are score multipliers. If you make a shot using the orange ball, you’ll earn five times the points. Make consecutive shots to double your score up to five times.

To give less skilled players more of a chance and to offer the more skilled player a healthy challenge, there are three levels of difficulty. The harder setting involves using a longer table, whereas the easy setting allows players to use a shorter table, though I've found the difference to be more of less negligible. And just to add to the fun, GlassPong is setup with 20 Gamecenter achievements

Glasspong can be a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. However, frustration abounds because the glass doesn't move until you make the shot, which forces you to attempt a shot until you make it. So, as a tip, if you find yourself stuck on a difficult shot and running out of time, it might be best to just restart.

Overall, GlassPong is not bad for a free app, and if you find that you really enjoy it, there's a paid version without ads.
