QuickWeather ($0.99) by App Jon QuickWeather gives you what you want - the weather, quick. The app displays the current temperature (you can choose Fahrenheit or Celsius) in a large font, and tells you the current conditions, and the highs and lows for the day. You're also greeted with a big icon representing the weather (a sun, sun with clouds, cloud with lightning, etc) on top of a fitting background image.

You can also view Tomorrow's Forecast and Current Conditions. With Current Conditions, you'll get detailed information such as Visibility, Pressure, Sunrise/Sunset Times, Humidity, Wind Speed, and more. It is revealed in a little foldout that flows well with the rest of the app. Tomorrow's Forecast shows a small, transparent pop-up bubble that shows the temperature for tomorrow in a large font, just like the current temperature.

You can refresh the data at any time with a small refresh button at the bottom corner. It doesn't obstruct the imagery of the app in any way and is just nicely tucked away.

The 'i' button in the other corner is pretty much the Settings of the app. You can choose Fahrenheit or Celsius here, and choose your location by Zip Code, City, or GPS.

The biggest drawback here is that you can only save one location at a time. And each time, you'll have to manually add it. The app currently does not support multiple locations, so I hope that the developer can add these very soon in future updates.

Another thing to note - the main screen that displays the weather will not show you the current city that it is displaying the weather for. So if you commute a lot or are just in different cities a lot, this can be a problem. Again, I hope that the developer can address these issues in an update, sooner rather than later.

Currently, QuickWeather is nicely designed, but to be a real contender in the weather app market, it needs to address the critical flaws: show current city, and have a nice and easy way to save multiple locations. Once those are implemented, this app will be a great one to have.

For the time being, the app has potential to be great, but until then, there are better weather apps to be had.

UPDATE: The app has just been updated to 1.3 and includes the following changes:

- Multiple city support

- Tomorrow's Forecast now has an umbrella icon for easier access

- Tweaked verification scheme for finding location by GPS

- Option for large font for city list

- Many more improvements and fixes to the overall experience of the app
