Valentine's ($2.99) by SpoonJuice is a quick Valentine's Day card creator for your iPhone.

It's the day before Valentine's Day. Do you have a gift yet? How about a digital card to send to your loved ones? (Because really, it's not the gift that counts, it's the thought that counts, right?).

Valentine

If you're still in the need for a quick way to send a digital valentine card, then check out SpoonJuice Valentine's.

There are eight different themes to choose from for your card. The images are preset, but there is enough variety to appeal to most - there are even two cute gamer ones.

Once you find a card you like, you can pick who to send it to. You can send it to multiple people and even pick from your Address Book, though you'll have to keep going back in for each recipient you want to send it to.

The field below the recipient field allows you to type out a message to put on the card. You can be as creative or cliche as you want here, regardless, the message will show up on the right side of the postcard-like Valentine card.

After you complete these two steps, you can see a preview of your postcard. The left side of the card will be what you saw on the original theme selection, and the right side will be your message with a frame to go along with the rest of the theme. There's even a postage stamp to give it that realistic postcard feeling.

Ready to send it? Just tap that green button and you'll get a green progress bar filled with hearts to fit the Valentine mood. Once it's done, it will let you know and you can send it again or create a new card.

SpoonJuice has also included a little About section, which explains the origins of Valentine's Day, if you've ever wanted to know how it came to be. You can send your valentines and learn about why you're sending it! The more you know.

The interface is very smooth and nice, though I was a bit disappointed that the graphics are not Retina Display optimized. I hope that the developers plan to address this issue in the future. But the resulting card from the app looks pretty good when viewed from email, so it doesn't really matter.

So if you're still needing a way to send digital valentines to your friends and family, then give Valentine's a try. The card designs are cute and you can only expect more themes in the future for Valentine's Day 2012.
