Always Have STUFF (to do)? Here's Another Task Manager For Your iPhone

STUFF (to do) ($2.99) by GOPrice is a simple and clean task manager for your iPhone.

Here we go, another task manager app for your iPhone. It seems that this is the new "Hello, world" app. Anyways, here's another one, simply called STUFF (to do).

This one is pretty simple. There's no complicated GTD system like OmniFocus. instead, it seems to be geared towards the average iPhone user. The main screen features a large logo icon for the app, and has Tasks, Tags, and Archive.

In the Tasks tab, it will list any of your uncompleted tasks. To create a new one, the "new task" button is located in the center of the bottom menubar (think Instagram-like). Now you simply enter in your task name, when it's due, tag it, and add any necessary notes.

The nice thing about STUFF (to do) is that it allows you to set a date and even a time for when something is due. Not all to-do apps include the time part, so it's nice to see it in here. An alarm can be set if you desire, which will nag you to get something done. Always helpful.

While you can create multiple tags, I found it disappointing that you can only assign one tag to a task. So while I was creating a bunch of tags, I only realized one can actually be attached to the task at hand because not all that I was selecting was getting that check mark.

STUFF (to do) also allows you to email a task or send it in a SMS. There's also a check at the bottom to complete a task or a trash can to delete it. Another way to complete a task is to simply tap and hold on it on the list of tasks. This will make it blend away and disappear, only to be replaced with a check mark in a circle for a second before that also disappears. Swipe-to-delete is present in the list view as well.

In the Tags section, you can view all your current tags and create new ones as well. Selecting one will let you view all the tasks at hand with that tag attached.

All completed items will end up in the Archive section. This is to keep just a history of your tasks, since you can't actually reuse any or move them back to the Tasks section. I found this disappointing since sometimes you may accidentally "complete" something. The only way to undo your mistake is to create a new task with the same details as the old. I hope that a future update can allow users to move archive tasks back, so it will be less of a pain to use in those circumstances.

The app itself is smooth and is optimized for Retina Display on the iPhone 4.

STUFF (to do) is fairly simple and basic. There is no cloud syncing or any kind of backup solution, which already draws me away from the app. You cannot customize the appearance of the app as well - it's just black and white.

For the price of $3, I find it is still lacking a lot to make it worth the price.
