Wasted Life ($0.99) by Steve Reynolds is an app that helps you visualize how much of your life you've spent on repeating events and tasks.

Have you ever wondered about how much of your life you have spent doing certain things? How much will you sleep during your life? How much will you spend working? Driving? Eating? Wasted Life is a new app that will help you calculate just that.

The first thing you'll want to do when you open the app is to go to the Settings. This is where you'll input settings into the app that will help it calculate how much time you spend doing things for YOUR life. You will specify Male/Female, Start Work Age and Retirement Age, and what country. You also have the options of logging in to Facebook and Twitter to share your statistics.

Once those are set properly for your information, it's time to see how much of your life you've spent on certain events! On the Events screen, you'll find an area at the top that will show you visually how much of your life is spent doing things, and the beneath that is where you will be inputting all that information.

Tapping the "+" button at the top allows you to create a new event. On this screen you'll enter the details such as the name of the task/event, Average Time Spent Per Day, and Days Per Week. There is also an option to mark it as work-related or not. Once the events start accumulating, you'll see the bar at the top start filling up, and show a percentage of how much these events will total up for your life.

Selecting any of the events you've entered will show statistics, including a bar with just that event, and what the total amount of time is during your life that you will spend doing this task. There is a slider so you can adjust the input, with the max being what you entered originally.

Events can be deleted as well, but there is no way to currently edit an event you've already entered. If you realize you put the wrong input, you'll have to enter it again and delete the old one. I hope that the developers can make past events editable in a future update.

This app is pretty unique as it shows you how much time will be spent doing things, if you've ever wondered about that before. It doesn't offer any other use besides this, but if you've been dying to know how many years you're going to spend snoozing away, Wasted Life is perfect.

The design and interface of Wasted Life is nice and minimal, but looks good at the same time.

I have experienced some crashes, which would occur when switching from the Settings to Events, and then I would have to force quit the app and restart it, only to result in a black screen before booting me back to the home screen. The third time will go back to normal and pretend like no crashes occurred. I'm not sure why this is, but it's fixable. Hopefully an update can fix the stability of the app.

There's not much else to Wasted Life, but if you've ever been curious and want to know how much of your life you're going to waste on certain activities, then Wasted Life is a fit for you, and the price isn't bad either (just $1).
