Save Toshi DX Gets 20 New Levels, New Environments, And Game Center Support

February 7, 2011
Nitako's colorful and charming physics-based puzzle game, Save Toshi DX, recently received an update that added all kinds of new content as well as Game Center support, so now you have even more reasons to give this unique title a shot. The latest update to Save Toshi DX pushes the total number of puzzling levels to a whopping 100, while adding new environments for you to toss balls around in. The newest level pack is only available after you have completed the previous four, however. The game also now features full Game Center support. It includes a single online leaderboard, so you can compare your total star count with your friends, and 27 achievements to obtain, totaling 875 points. Save Toshi DX v1.2 also includes some minor fixes and improvements:
  • Performance boost
  • Device Flipping supported
  • Icons native on all three resolutions
  • Bug fixes
For those who haven't tried Save Toshi DX quite yet, it's a 3D physics-based puzzle game similar to Boom Blox for Nintendo Wii. The idea is to simply through balls at a variety of objects via a first-person perspective in order to get Toshi onto the dance floor. You can spin your camera around the entire environment in order to align your shots, and the simple tap controls allow for extreme accuracy. Scoring is based on how many balls you need to complete the puzzle. Save Toshi DX is available for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad for $1.99.
