Universal Box.net App Now Includes AirPrint Support And Other Goodies
February 18, 2011
Box.net, the cloud-based service, has released an update for its free universal app. It now offers support for video out and AirPrint, among other features.
Using an Apple iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter, the app lets users project documents from an iPad. Now pitches and presentations look better since they are on a television, projector or LCD monitor.
AirPrint support means Box.net articles can now be printed wirelessly. Keep in mind an AirPrint-supported printer is required.
Finally, Box.net now supports single sign-on (SSO) for users that access the app through their Google or PingFederate accounts. This adds a level of security, especially for business customers with LDAP/Active Directory configurations.
Box.net is a great service, and its free universal app is equally impressive. Get it today in the App Store.
