Verizon iPhone Missing Key Features Versus AT&T Model
February 14, 2011
The Verizon iPhone is finally in the hands of consumers, and with it we are beginning to see some key limitations of the handset.
In addition to being unable to talk while using data, the Verizon iPhone is lacking the ability to conference call with more than three people, which includes you. Plus, you cannot switch between phone calls, and you are unable to hang up on just one person during a conference call.
Finally, Verizon iPhone users cannot handle call swapping; meaning you cannot make one of your conference callers private, as you can on an AT&T iPhone. Plus, if you try to hang up on one caller, the other caller will be disconnected too. Not good.
