Discounted: Original iPad Still Selling Well, Good Buy For Many

Despite the introduction of the iPad 2, the first generation iDevice is still selling remarkably well. And, since the original iPad is on clearance, it is available at discounted prices.
When the iPad 2 was announced on March 2, it immediately made its predecessor obsolete. However, many original iPads remained at stores and still do.
Depending on your situation, it might be better to forgo the iPad 2 and save a little money in the process. But, you better act quickly since supplies are limited.
Apple’s own storefront offers the iPad for $100 off the original price. Each of the models remain available.
You can also purchase the original iPad online through Target, Best Buy and Walmart, among other stores. Each are offering discounted pricing.
Your best bet might be to visit your local store. Sometimes on-site discounts are available that aren't necessarily advertised or available online.
