Doodle Jump Surpasses 10 Million Paid Downloads; Franchise Set To Expand

March 15, 2011
Lima Sky has announced that Doodle Jump has officially surpassed the 10 million paid download mark, and with the game's two-year anniversary taking place tomorrow, it appears that at least one birthday wish has been granted a little early.
“After such incredible first two years, it is safe to say Doodle Jump has exceeded even our wildest imaginations,” says Igor Pusenjak, founder of Lima Sky. “We are looking forward to bringing even more amazing content to millions of Doodle Jump fans around the world.”
The new and amazing content Igor is referring to isn't just new themes for the iPhone version of Doodle Jump, it's actually a bunch of different things. First off, the team of two will be issuing a free update to the iPhone version of Doodle Jump very soon, which will finally add multiplayer to the endless jumping game. They are also still hard at work on the iPad-optimized version of Doodle Jump, which will feature new items never before seen in the original game. The Doodler will also be taking his jumping skills to a whole different platform, as Lima Sky has revealed that Doodle Jump will be coming to the Xbox 360 in the form of a XBLA Kinect game. Finally, in addition to the stationary sets already available, Lima Sky intends to release a new line of Doodle Jump toys and a comic book. With Doodle Jump's road ahead now laid out, all we have to do is sit back, wait, and then thoroughly enjoy everything that comes our way.
