Handwritten email ($.99 -> Free, 7.8 MB): Just type your message using the on-screen keyboard and the app will convert it into handwritten text. It features several handwritten and calligraphy styles, multiple text colors and sizes, 20 background patterns and pictures, and the ability to send your message through a variety of services.

Rocket Runner ($.99 -> Free, 6.4 MB): Activate your rocket pack by tapping the left and right sides of the screen in order to go the farthest possible distance. The game features colorful graphics and local high scores.

Return of the Bots ($.99 -> Free, 32.3 MB): Steer your bot using dual-stick controls to find and deactivate all of the micro-chips in each level in order to move on to the next. The game features nine missions in campaign mode, two survival arenas, seven unlockable characters, and Game Center integration.
Return of the Bots is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 5 ratings.
Marble Merge ($.99 -> Free, 9 MB): Marbles fall from the top of the screen and it's up to you to keep combining like colored ones until they burst. The game features two difficulty levels, a survival mode, three mini-games, and online leaderboards.

Universal:
Text Writer ($.99 -> Free, 417.5 KB): This super simple productivity app makes typing and editing text a quick task thanks to its extra row of keys at the top of the on-screen keyboard. The extra row features copy, paste, select, end, home, and arrow keys. The app also allows you to send your text via email.
Text Writer is available for free until April 2nd. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 21 ratings.
Zoombie Digger ($.99 -> Free, 34.7 MB): Keep the creatures away from your home by digging graves, blasting them, or just throwing them around the level in this castle defense game. It features over 40 levels, 12 regular weapons, six super weapons, and five environments.
Zoombie Digger is available for free today only (03/30). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 38 ratings.
Traffic Master ($.99 -> Free, 17.7 MB): Keep the traffic flowing by either stopping vehicles or making them accelerate through crossroads. If you cause a crash, it's game over. The game features three crossroads, up to 16 lanes of traffic at a time, realistic looking crashes, and online leaderboards.

iPad:
Block Shooter HD ($.99 -> Free, 12 MB): Shoot small, medium, and large balls at the red blocks in order to get all of them off of the platform in this physics-based puzzle game. Try not to knock the blue blocks off, however, as it will cost you some points. The game features star ratings for each level and a total of 36 levels.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
