Just Get An iPad? Grab AppStart - Our iPad Starter Guide - Free Through International Launch

March 25, 2011
The iPad 2 launched internationally today in 25 countries, and we know that more than half of our readers are outside the U.S., which means many of you should be getting home with your shiny new device any time now. After you go through the unboxing fun, get it activated, get it synched, open the App Store and download (of course, it's suggested) the iBooks app, you might ask yourself, "Now what?" Well, answering that question is sort off what we do every day here. To get you started though, we've put together an actual guide app, called AppStart. It's a beautifully designed (if we don't mind saying so ourselves) iPad magazine that will give you everything you need to know in order to get started on your iPad. It has the basics, like the first 10 apps you should download, from how to set up your mail. All the way to advanced tricks like, "how to activate the secret multigesture mode". Best thing about it? It's free, for a limited time. You can get it by tapping here. Or even better, if you're in an English-speaking country, just go to the top charts on your iPad's App Store. I know we're bragging a bit, but the fact is that we're darn proud of AppStart and it's doing really well. And if you download it, you'll see why. So, whether you just got your iPad, or you've had it for a while, don't let your kids show you up, make sure to get yourself some AppStart, and rule your device.
