No Photo Booth? No Problem, Meet FX Booth

FX Booth ($0.99) by Alastair Stuart is a photography app that offers similar effects to Apple's Photo Booth. As of now the only iDevice with an available version of Photo Booth is the iPad 2, which leaves many of us out of luck. However, FX Booth is compatible with all the iDevices that have cameras.
There are an abundance of photography applications in the App Store, but there are only a few that let you see effects in real-time. This is what makes FX booth stand out; all 12 face-bending effects can be previewed in real time.
When using the app on the iPhone 4 you also have the ability to switch between cameras. All of the filters do a great job of mimicking the original Photo Booth effects, though a few are missing.
FX Booth is not a new app, but it is an excellent alternative to Photo Booth. The pictures are automatically saved to your camera roll and can also be viewed in the app.
From the app’s camera roll you can share photos via e-mail, Facebook, and Twitter. The app does not offer much more, but for a simple Photo Booth alternative it's quite good.
Overall, FX Booth is a great app for taking fun and unique pictures. If you don’t have an iPad 2, and are looking for something similar for your iPhone, this is a must have.
