Hockey Nations 2011 Pro, Distinctive's follow-up to last year's hit hockey simulation game, is now available in the App Store at an introductory price.
Distinctive created a solid foundation with Hockey Nations 2010, but with Hockey Nations 2011 they wanted to deliver what fans truly desired in a hockey sim, and apparently that was more customization options, multiplayer, and some good ol' fashion fist fighting.
Hockey Nations 2011 includes a total of 18 international teams, up from 2010's 14, but it also includes 40 customizable teams. When creating a franchise, you can now customize the city and team name to match your favorite team from anywhere in the world.
If you are the competitive type, you'll be happy to know that Hockey Nations 2011 allows you to take on a friend locally via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. There are also a bunch of Game Center achievements tied to the multiplayer mode, allowing you to take your need to compete one step further.
Throwing down your gloves and fighting head-to-head is now an option as well, along with the ability to change your offensive and defensive strategies to best suit your playing style. The game also features a total of seven modes, three different camera angles, replays, motion-captured animations, and basically everything else you loved about the original.
You can pick up Hockey Nations 2011 Pro for iPhone and iPod touch for the introductory price of $2.99.
