Solve Puzzles And Become An Intergalactic Strategist With The Plateau
The Plateau ($2.99) by SpoonJuice is a new mind-bending puzzle game with an intergalactic space theme. Each level takes place within one of four worlds. Between the four worlds, there are 40 levels, ten in each. Each level features unique AI algorithms, so users are never playing the same level twice. In every level the user is given several globes, each globe has one or more lines connecting it to another globe.
The objective is to realign the globes so that none of the lines are overlapping with one another. It seems simple enough at first, but after several levels it becomes incredibly challenging. In a recent update, the developers have added support for multi-touch, and higher resolution graphics to take advantage of the Retina display. Originally the game only allowed players to control one globe at a time, but now with multi-touch users can rearrange several globes at once.
Each level is scored based on how many times the globes are moved; the less tries, the higher the score. While playing the game users will also notice that the globes change color for a moment. If a globe is tapped while it is a color other than the standard orange, power-ups or downs are unlocked. This adds extra variety to the game. The game also features original soundtracks as well as access to Game Center leaderboards.
The game is flawless, I’ve played many similar puzzle games and I have enjoyed this one the most. Each level is very unique and requires a great deal of attention to detail.
