The original iPad is now available at prices starting at just $299, according to numerous sources, including MacRumors and Razorianfly. These rock bottom prices, which haven’t been spotted anywhere else, are available through corporate-owned Verizon retail stores only. Two weeks after the introduction of the iPad 2, retailers are trying to sell off their remaining stock of the original iPad by offering nice discounts on what they have left. If you really w.ant an iPad, and aren’t picky about getting it with a built-in camera, now is certainly the time to buy Verizon’s deal is $299 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model, $399 for the 32GB, and $499 for the 64GB model, or $200 off the original prices.
