Camera+ Finds Its Social Side And It Looks Great

One week after releasing a significant update to its Camera+ app, the folks at tap tap tap made noteworthy changes to the website behind the popular app. Users can now upload photos and share them on their favorite social network seamlessly. Plus, Twitter customers get something even more noteworthy: Their own personal photo site. Camera+ has always been committed to one central task: Allowing its users to take incredible photos. Now, its creators have taken a huge step in revamping the app’s social capabilities. Sharing of photos is possible through Flickr, Facebook, or Twitter. Emailing them to family and friends is another option. When using Twitter, however, something magically happens: Camera+ creates a unique website for you featuring each of the photos you’ve shared using that sservice. From here, others can make comments on each photo. In addition, the site looks terrific on an iPhone/iPod touch, since it is optimize for those iDevices. According to a post on the company’s blog blog blog page:
Today we’ve pushed live some features to the Camera+ twitter sharing pages that we’ve had brewing for a long time. We really wanted to get them just right. I’m happy to announce we finally support commenting, user pages, as well as a mobile optimized version of our sharing pages!
Camera+ is a very good app and the changes announced for its website make it even more so. Plus, it remains just $.99 in the App Store.
