EA Releases NBA Jam For iPad

After a couple months of iPhone exclusivity (and forcing iPad gamers to play it scaled up), NBA Jam is finally coming to the iPad in native resolution today. Moments ago, the new version hit all the international App Stores.
The iPhone version of NBA Jam ($4.99) was quite impressive -- even matching the console versions by most accounts. It should be a blast playing the arcade-style hoop-em-up basketball title on the larger display. This is a basketball game where you play two vs two games using real rosters -- and both current as well as legacy players -- but NBA Jam does not try to be a sim at all.
The NBA Jam series actually originated in the arcades back in the 90s. The series have always been about intense b-ball action and ridiculous alley-oops. Other trademarks of the series include large heads on famous players; a trait that has made its way to this iDevice version as well. This is a new version ported recently from consoles not the old 90s game. Here is the list of features from the app description that iPad gamers should expect:
