Find All The Best Deals With Sales Locator

April 17, 2011

SaleLocator (Free) by Hello Hi Technologies Inc. is a new GPS enabled app that allows users to find local sales and discounts. When you first open the app it asks permission to use your current location, it is very important that you do this as the app won't function properly without it. There are three ways of searching for sales: viewing a map with all of the local stores, a list of all the stores, or by category. When viewing a list of stores you will also notice that it tells you how far it is from your current location.

When a specific store is chosen, users can view an entire list of all the different promotions and sales. Nothing is required to take advantage of these sales; they are all in store promotions.

The app is also not affiliated with any of the stores; it just pulls information regarding the stores current promotions. Other apps that offer discounts and savings often require some action from the user. This is a key advantage to SaleLocator.

When viewing the stores in map mode, users can receive directions to the store right from the app itself, this saves the time and hassle of copying the address to another app. If users don’t see a store they are looking for, SaleLocator also lets you search for specific stores. Among the options you have for searching, you can also search based on a holiday, such as President's Day, Black Friday, Easter or Christmas.

For those of us who shop regularly, and are always looking for the best deals, your favorite stores can be saved in the "My Sales" section. This is useful and will save you time in the future. Users can also share the sales they find with friends and family via email, Twitter, and Facebook.

If you’re looking for a simple location based reference app with directions, and information on all the best deals this is a handy app to have.
