GarageBand For Mac Is Updated, Now Offers Full iPad Support
April 1, 2011
Apple has quietly given its GarageBand for Mac application an update and it is a big one. Version 6.0.2 now supports the importing of projects made with GarageBand for iPad.
The update, which iPad owners have been waiting for, clocks in at 47 MB in size and also includes bug fixes and improved stability.
When GarageBand for iPad debuted last month many were unhappy with the inability to import those projects into the Mac version of the application. Now, they can.
To get the update, simply use Software Update or download it from its support page.
GarageBand for iPad is available for $4.99 in the App Store. GarageBand for Mac is available in the Mac App Store for $14.99.
