Happy First Birthday, iPad. What A Year It Has Been!

One year ago today, the tech world changed forever, when the original iPad went on sale across the U.S. Today, 365 days later, Apple has sold 15 million units and leads a tablet market that was largely nonexistent before the iPad was released on April 3, 2010.
Thinking back, it’s difficult to remember the world without the iPad and its successor, the iPad 2. One year later, there are now 75,000 native iPad apps available in the App Store and entire industries have been changed.
Today, educators, medical professionals, and journalists have seen their day-to-day jobs change because of one little tablet. Students, gamers, and sports enthusiasts now turn to their iPad for learning and entertainment.
Happy Birthday, iPad. We can’t wait to see what happens in year two.
