Our Saturday AGF list includes a variety of games that should keep you busy throughout the weekend along with a unique photography app that adds an aged effect to photos, an app that allows you to create stylized text, and an interactive entertainment app that allows you to manipulate a cosmic top.

Vector Runner ($1.99 -> Free, 10.8 MB): Steer your vector-based racer by tapping the corners of the screen in order to avoid all of the obstacles and mines while collecting bonuses. The game features progressive difficulty and Game Center integration.

Halftone ($.99 -> Free, 11.9 MB): This photography app adds an aged halftone-style printing effect to new photos or those imported from your library. You can then choose from up to 21 different paper styles, nine layouts, two caption styles, all kinds of different fonts, six speech balloon styles, and finally share your work in a variety of ways.
Halftone is available for free through the weekend. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 43 ratings.
Great Little War Game ($.99 -> Free, 17 MB): Great Little War Game is a turn-based strategy game similar in style to Nintendo's Advance Wars. Take turns with the enemy AI moving and attacking units with hopes of being the last one standing. The game features 3D animations, 20 missions, and a skirmish mode.

Sheepernova ($.99 -> Free, 16.2 MB): Guide the lost flock of sheep safely past meteors, suns, and planets and into the vortex by swiping your finger. The game features five modes, over 100 levels, and Game Center integration.

Crazy Rhino ($.99 -> Free, 20.8 MB): Control a crazy rhino by tapping on the left side of the screen to slow down and the right to jump in order to achieve the greatest distance. The game features three levels, power-ups, and Game Center integration.

Icarus-X ($1.99 -> Free, 17.8 MB): A 3D top-down vertical shooter that features four modes, boss battles, and Game Center integration.

Cosmic Top ($1.99 -> Free, 2.7 MB): A 3D virtual toy that features tons of different tops that you can spin, wobble, and sometimes morph. The tops can be manipulated by touch and tilt. The app supports up to 11 active touches on iPad, and five on iPhone and iPod touch.

KungPow ($.99 -> Free, 6.9 MB): A retro-inspired side-scrolling beat 'em up that features unique on-screen controls which allow you to take down your enemies in a variety of ways. Each of the five levels must be completed in less than 3,000 seconds otherwise a life will be lost. If all three of your lives are gone before you finish, you must start all over on level one.
KungPow is available for free today only (04/16). It has a 3-star rating with a total of 4 ratings.
FMX Riders ($1.99 -> Free, 61.6 MB): A colorful and frantic 3D motocross racing game that features four game modes including a freestyle mode where you can perform huge tricks, over 40 events to participate in, Retina graphics, Game Center integration, and TV-out support.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
