Lifelike Craig HD Version 2.0 Is Out, Goes Universal
April 6, 2011
The highly anticipated update to the Lifelike Craig HD app has been released and is now available in the App Store. The update makes the Craigslist browsing app universal, meaning it will work on any iOS device. Best of all, it works amazingly well with the iPad 2's camera.
Mimicking the look and feel of an actual classified newspaper section, Lifelike Craig is full of features making a visit to the actual Craigslist website no longer necessary.
"Sure, Lifelike Craig is the best looking Craigslist interface out there. But don't be fooled by the eye candy! It's fast, intuitive, and packs tons of smart features not even available on the Craigslist website, things like auto-location, smart search and displaying favorites as circled ads" said Dotan Saguy, CEO of Lifelike Apps. When entering the app, its “Smart Location” feature automatically determines the user’s location. “Smart Search” remembers a user’s previous search inquires the offers users’ suggestions for future searches based on this history. In addition, you will be amazed by the app’s “red pen” feature, which is activated as soon as listings are bookmarked. As if by magic, these lists are circled in red just like you might do with an actual newspaper. Don't like an ad? Those are scratched out. Other features include the ability to post your own ads (with pictures taken using the iPad 2 or iPhone camera) and the ability to manage multiple accounts. And yes, it makes full use of the iPhone's Retina display. Created by Los Angeles, California-based Lifelike Apps, the app’s entry into the iPhone/iPod touch marketplace is a smart move. It will help Lifelike Apps introduce its Craigs app to new users who may not have already been able to do so. The now universal Lifelike Craig HD app is available in the App Store for $2.99. Current customers can download the update for free on their iDevice.
