Litterbug Helps Kids Understand Recycling [Giveaway Included]

There are visual tutorials at the beginning of each level that shows children where each type of item should go. It starts fairly simple, with water bottles and apple cores. With your finger, you will guide litterbug to pick up the item, and place it in the correct container. If you get it wrong, the game will nicely tell you the container where it belongs. Each level gets a little more difficult, adding more items to recycle. When the item is placed in the correct container, the choice is affirmed and kids feel positive about their success.

The graphics are colorful and the litterbug is a ladybug, which looks very friendly. The music is snappy and helps keep a child engaged. There are other cute characters such as puppies, bunnies, owls and fish that move around the screen. Another goal of Litterbug is to clean up the items before any of the animals get them instead! This game is easy for kids to play, as you only need to touch and drag the different objects.

This is a wonderful app to introduce and teach young children about recycling! Litterbug is ideal for preschool-aged children. Older children may become bored fairly quickly, as the game is not all that difficult. Before you know it, your kids might be correcting you on your recycling habits!
