Saw Meets The iPad In The Sinister Game Called Slice HD

April 2, 2011
Saw meets the iPad in the sinister game called Slice HD, a brilliant back and forth between you and weapons of destruction. Created by SmallBall, the game has a simple goal: push the red button. However, to do so you’ll need to control knives, stabbing instruments, and razors. Unfortunately, this is not only difficult but increasingly so as you move through each of the game’s 24 levels.

Successful, and you’ll live to see another day. A mistake here or there and your hands will be bloodied and you will go all the way back to the game’s first level.

Slice HD makes amazing use of the iPad’s touchscreen and its heart-bumping soundtrack makes for creepy game playing. In fact, within seconds your brain will convince you that you’re one mistake away from actually cutting off a finger. As gory as it is, at least there is no Jigsaw. Check out this video:

Slice HD is available for $2.99 in the App Store.
