Buncee Mom - Mother’s Day eCards (Free) by Buncee LLC is an app that revolutionizes the card-making process. It is perfect for those who cannot afford to splurge on expensive cards or who have tech-savvy mothers. This particular app is specifically designed to create Mother’s Day cards, but Buncee Pro can create cards for all occasions. After creation, cards can be saved to your iPad photo album, shared on social networking sites, or sent in an email.
Each card is designed from scratch, making it completely personal. The app comes with backgrounds, clip arts and text banners/boxes all pertaining to Mother’s Day. There are four clip art categories (messages, hearts, flowers and presents) that the developers have included. The app can also import photos from your iPad’s photo albums.
Other card making apps may have all of these features, but Buncee really excels in its ease of use. One tap puts an object on the screen and from there it can be dragged and rotated as needed. Unlike card-making software, there are no boxes with arrows to be dragged, simply tap and rotate or resize the image. You can also re-order the images (i.e. bring to front, send to back) like in Word, a feature I have yet to see elsewhere.
Buncee Mom is designed for single panel cards. Since this is a designated card app, there should also be an option to create two or four-panel folded cards. Maybe the developers can add this for a future holiday?
Overall, Buncee Mom is a great app for Mother’s Day. It’s simple to use, has nice graphics, and is sure to be a great surprise for Mom.
