New "iPhone 5" Photos Surface, Includes Larger Display

April 25, 2011
A new set of photos are making the rounds purportedly of the next generation iPhone. According to M.I.C. Gadget, which posted the two photos we’ve included here, the iPhone 5 will include a larger display and include an A5 processor. Under a headline called “Exclusive: White iPhone ‘4S,’ even M.I.C. Gadget isn’t sure the photos are real or simply mockups. Still, they are in line with other recent reports indicating the next iPhone will include a larger display and better processor than the iPhone 4. Depending on the source, the iPhone 5 will include a display anywhere from between 3.7 and 4 inches. While Digitimes says the screen will be 4 inches, the WSJ says it will include an edge-to-edge screen with no home button. Finally, Joshua Topolsky says the iPhone 5 will be 3.7 inches. The photos here are of the 3.7 inch variety. According to 9 To 5 Mac, the ‘4S’ moniker is almost certainly the iPhone 5, and not some new variation of the iPhone 4.  It states:
The person who chose to share this information with us calls it the ‘iPhone 4S’, though the device itself only has typical Apple prototype nomenclature.  He also shared that the device spends its evenings in a safe in the company’s offices.
Until Apple officially announces the next generation iPhone, we are left with rumors such those mentioned here. What do you think? Leave your comments below
