Share Your Videos Using A Variety Of Effects With Vlix

Vlix, video effects & sharing (Free) by SpotMixer, Inc. is a new video effects and sharing app for all camera-enabled iDevices. It is an easy and fun way to shoot, share, and edit mobile video. Vlix allows users to choose from an array of video effects that can be applied to any recorded clip. In addition to filters, users can also add opening and closing text to a video.
What really makes Vlix stand out is its integration with other websites such as Youtube and Facebook. Not only can users directly upload to their personal accounts on both sites, but they also have their own feed with Vlix. When you first open Vlix, one of the requirements is to make an account (if you don't already have one). Of course, creating an account is completely free, as is the app. It seems that not to many video editing and sharing applications are free, especially apps with Facebook and Youtube integration.
Furthermore, the app currently features 17 effects...a number that is sure to grow with future updates. When applying any of the effects, users can instantly preview the clip and change to a different filter. One thing to be aware of, however, is that the app is optimized for shorter clips around 60 seconds and isn't really designed for longer clips.
From within the app, users have the ability to comment and like videos they have posted on Facebook, which is nice. Currently Vlix is supported for the 3GS and iPhone 4 as well as the 4th generation iPod touch and iPad 2.
For a free video editing and sharing app, Vlix is really great and quite impressive. As the app store is becoming more and more crowded, it is increasingly difficult to find quality free apps, but Vlix is definitely one of those apps, so be sure to check this one out.
