For those of you who enjoy crime thrillers and murder mysteries, Telltale games has something in store for you. Law & Order: LA is slated to come out sometime in 2011, according to Telltale's blog, and will be an episode-based game.
The game has been announced for multiple devices that includes mobile platforms like the iPhone, and tablets like the iPad, as well.
Telltale Games has had a presence on the App Store with recent hits such as Back to the Future Ep 1 HD ($6.99), which was specially enhanced for the iPad 2 with an update. They received some criticism, from iDevice gamers, because of their multi-system releases not being optimized for mobile platforms well -- hence the iPad 2 performance-based update.
The types of games that Telltale specializes in are graphic adventures with point-and-click gameplay. These types of games have a lot of puzzle solving and exploration. Many 90s-era PC gamers should be very familiar with this genre.
So what would you guys like to see in this upcoming crime thriller? Does the L.A setting work well for such a game? Feel free to comment below.
