It's Tyrannosaurus Rex! Stomps Into The App Store

Oceanhouse Media, Inc. has released its newest digital book, It’s Tyrannosaurus Rex! It is the first in a series of digital books being offered through an agreement with Soundprints, publisher of Smithsonian Institution titles and other books for younger readers.
According to Michel Kripalani, founder and president of Oceanhouse Media:

We plan to release a number of titles throughout 2011 from their Prehistoric Pals, Oceanic and Backyard collections for young readers.”Written by Dawn Bentley and illustrated by wildlife and natural history artist Karen Carr, It’s Tyrannosaurus Rex! is a prehistoric adventure for readers in preschool through grade 2. Approved by paleontologists at the Smithsonian Institution, the story takes readers on a journey through the Cretaceous period where they learn how Tyrannosaurus Rex and other ancient creatures roamed the earth. Like with other Oceanhouse Media apps, It’s Tyrannosaurus Rex! features three reading options. These include Auto Play, Read to Me, and Read It Myself. The digital book is a great way for young readers to learn about dinosaurs. And, because it is universal, your kids can read it on the iPhone/iPod touch or iPad. It’s Tyrannosaurus Rex! is available for $2.99 in the App Store.
