AT&T Overcharging Each Of Us Up To 300 Percent

AT&T is overcharging its data customers as much as 300 percent, according to a new report aired by MSNBC. As such, 20 million Americans are paying more for their monthly service than they need to be.
The report, which we’ve included here, is tied to a new lawsuit filed against the giant carrier.
In the report, lawyer Barry Davis contents:
“It's like a rigged gas pump. Where when you go to the gas station and ask for a gallon of gas but only get 9/10's.”When asked by the MSNBC reporter whether he found overcharging for every single transaction, Davis replied: 'yes, every single one.' To test its theory AT&T was overcharging customers, Davis’s team bought several new iPhone 4s and disabled the software that would automatically access the Internet. However, they kept the iDevices on, untouched, for ten days. They found AT&T is overcharging customers on average between 7 and 14 percent, with some users seeing a 300 percent hit. When contacted by MSNBC, AT&T indicated the lawsuit was without merit and “reflect(ed) a misunderstanding of the way data is measured.” Take a look:
