Fotobookr Makes Facebook Photo Browsing A Cinch
fotobookr ($0.99) by Peter Stajger is a real time-saver for Facebook fans who like to quickly catch up on the latest photos posted by friends. It is well-thought out and keeps things simple.
It can be annoying sometimes to navigate through your Facebook feed to find all the new pictures people have posted. More than once I've missed ones I wished I had known about earlier (ie, engagements, weddings, births, etc). It can be time consuming to find them all.
When you first log into Fotobookr you are asked to sign into your Facebook account. Once you are signed in and grant permission for the app to fetch the data it needs, you are set. Hit the circle arrow in the top, right-hand corner and you the app will load the latest photos posted (most recent to least recent).
You will initially see a large collage of the photos to choose from. Choose one to start browsing. Arrows allow you to go to the next or previous photo and browse quickly and easily.
This app shows only photos posted in the last 24 hours and the loading is quick because the photos are cached. If you have one friend who posts too many photos and you aren't interested in seeing all theirs, just swipe with two fingers and the app will skip you to the next friend's photos. The name of the person who posted the photo is directly below the picture (I removed my friend's name in the screenshots).
I would like to see Fotobookr add more features. It's interface is so uncluttered and smooth that I would really love to catch up on the latest videos with it, too. I am excited to see what the developer adds in future updates.
