It Happened Here Offers Nice Additions With 2.0 Update

It Happened Here was recently updated to version 2.0, and if you haven't checked this app out before, now is the time to do it. It Happened Here is a great travel app that will show you hidden pop culture landmarks in four major U.S. cities. The 2.0 update adds three new cities to its small, but growing catalog.
The additional cities that are available via in-app purchases are: Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. The app comes with Washington, DC included, thus bringing the total number of cities supported so far to four.
The app was recently named a "best iPhone tour app," by Travel and Leisure magazine. It is an interesting app, and definitely worth checking out when traveling, as it helps you find cool and unique places near your current location.
The app description lists some of these places as: sites of historical events, memorable movie scenes, famous crimes, and even pop culture happenings. Other It Happened Here features include (from the app description):
