Ring Blade ($.99 -> Free, 46.5 MB): An arcade shooter with a "flick-fire" mechanic, which is intended to allow you to enjoy the intense action without your finger getting in the way. You can also move your launcher from side to side by dragging your finger. The game features 3o levels, a tribal tattoo art style, power-ups, boss battles, and OpenFeint integration.

Data Control App ($.99 -> Free, 354.8 KB): An app that helps you manage your iPhone's data usage over 3G and Wi-Fi. It works with any service provider and doesn't require you to login to your personal account. It is also able to predict future data use and suggest plans based on this information. Data Control reads RAW data, so actual user data should be a little less than what it's reporting.

45th Street ($1.99 -> Free, 21.6 MB): Take out the filthy punks that lurk in the shadows of 45th Street by using a wide variety of weapons in this side-scrolling beat 'em up. The game features doodle graphics, upgradable abilities, and OpenFeint integration.

Reflekt ($.99 -> Free, 11.9 MB): A puzzle game that requires you to slide pieces around in the top half of the screen in order to match their location in the bottom half. Matching multiple pieces at once will award you with bonus points while wasted moves will penalize you. The game features three modes, Retina graphics, and Game Center support.

Paper Train HD ($2.99 -> Free, 23.2 MB): Control railway traffic by stopping trains and switching tracks in order to keep the entire system chugging along. The game features doodle graphics, 45 levels, four difficulty levels, Retina graphics, and online leaderboards.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
