Meet George, A Regular Guy Who Lives On Your iPhone

Imagine blending a stress ball with the Sims, and then adding a dose of The Truman Show. What you will get is Contact George, the App Store’s first virtual everyday guy.
Created by Re-Create Entertainment, Contact George is a “real” person who lives and breathes in his own world that just happens to be on your iPhone/iPod touch. Your job is to make his world as relaxing as possible, through prodding, poking, and even a bit of tickling. In the process, Contact George’s job is to make your life a little less stressful too.
Contact George, who is officially known as George B. Dupp, lives in four different environments, his office, living room, bedroom, and (unfortunately) his bathroom. In each room you will find objects such as cans of soda, a remote control, or a light switch, which you can rig to gain a reaction from George.
Along the way, you will meet some of George’s virtual friends, find quite a few unlocks, and hopefully leave his world a lot less stressed than when you entered.
Version 1.1, which was released today, adds real life news events that can be used to communicate with the character. In addition, the app’s help guide has been greatly enhanced.

There are actually two versions of the app: Contact George ($.99) and Contact George PRO ($1.99). Both are basically the same, however, the PRO version includes a number of features missing from the first.

Connect to him anytime, see what he is up to and start messing with him. The touch of your fingers and your voice makes him feel anger or joy. See his different reactions and try different combinations and find out how real this connection is. Rig objects in various environments you find him in, sit back and watch the outcome. Get him angry to the boiling point and choose when he’s had enough. TWO ROADS, ONE OUTCOME Strengthen your connection with George in your own way. Tickle and talk to him all day long or decide to annoy him until he’s had enough. In the end making him happy gives you your reward. Unlock new stuff like “Double Anger”, “Instant Rig”, “Wanted” and … “A Time Machine” to discover his universe. CONNECTING IS EVERYTHING He is virtually real.
