MrMixit, the new music-based matching game from HD Interactive, puts a new spin on the familiar genre with challenging gameplay set to thumping techno beats. In the game, you take on the role of the robotic Mr. Mixit, matching cross-cut graffiti-style record labels on two user-controllable rotating turntables. There are thousands of puzzle combinations, and each board gives you 30 seconds to make each match. While the first few rounds are pretty easy, the pictures start getting exceptionally misleading; and -- after one or two incorrect assemblies -- your time (and luck) pretty much runs out. Graphically, MrMixit is colorful and kid-friendly, as are its musical and pictorial themes. The app is universal, looks great on both platforms, and is totally free for a short time only. Grab the well-rated MrMixit on iTunes now, before the price goes up... to an actual price.
