Mos Speedrun Price Temporarily Drops To $.99

In anticipation of a new update on Monday, Mos Speedrun has gone on sale for the weekend. The upcoming 1.2 update is promised to have additions such as new enemies, levels and more. This makes it the perfect time to pick up the game.
Mos Speedrun is a platformer where the main objective is to finish levels as quickly as possible. It is a twitch-based game with unforgiving challenges that pays homage to the retro classics of yesterday. As you control Mos and run, jump and platform through the currently available 20 levels, you will also see him being followed by shadow versions of himself (or ghosts) that are based on former speedruns you failed to complete. Speedruns are attempts to finish a game or level as quickly as possible. They are common in YouTube videos where a game has been completed in record time for bragging rights. Mos Speedrun tries to bring that same type of intensity to the table.
Mos Speedrun is also a universal app and contains pixel graphics for the purists out there; it looks great on any iDevice. Besides just platforming and jumping around levels, there are also enemies for you to defeat. Some of these enemies include bees, zombies, and robot zombees (as the app description calls them).
There are also two different controls methods available in Mos Speedrun: a two-button control method using the left and right sides of the screen for movement and jumping, and a standard dpad-based method of control. Each level in the game can also be completed four times; as a speedrun, while collecting all the gold coins, while finding a skull, and within a specified time limit.
