My Scrap Life ($0.99) by Dirk Bost is an app that allows iPad users to create detailed scrapbook pages. The app comes preloaded with hundreds of customizable features for your scrapbook. Although it is marketed as a scrapbook app for any event, most of the clip art included is related to school and growing up.
Users can add pictures, clip art, text, borders and backgrounds to their scrapbook pages. The controls for the app are straightforward. There is a menu button at the top of the screen that contains eight folders that users use to customize their pages. In the menu, an icon represents each folder. Tapping on an icon will show users all the contents of that folder. To add text or clip art, simply tap it and it will appear on the scrapbook screen. Images can be resized and freely rotated.
Each scrapbook page must be saved individually. Unfortunately, there is no way to create actual scrapbooks with multiple pages. However, pages can be saved as photos or emailed through My Scrap Life.
My Scrap Life is a nice app for creating scrapbook pages. Its simple functions make it a great scrap-booking app. It is comparable to Buncee Pro, with a smaller price tag.
