QuickAdvice: BubbleMe Combines Bubble-Popping and Photo Fun
BubbleMe (Free) by PlayHard Creative is part bubble-popping game and part photography effects app. Who doesn’t love to pop bubbles? With BubbleMe, you can relieve stress and create something beautiful at the same time.
Choose your photos, and choose your mode. Pick a pretty background and a picture of your loved one (or more pretty things) and start with “love” mode. Listen to soothing music and watch the bubbles float across your screen. Tap and hold the top center spot on the screen to sprinkle some magical sparkles (or snowflakes). Take screenshots by tapping and holding the top right corner. Save and share your favorites.
Someone on your mind that you’re not fond of? Switch to “hate” mode and choose that person’s photo. You change modes by tapping and holding the top left corner. The music changes to a faster tempo. Bubbles with that person’s picture will float on your screen for you to pop. The more you pop, the more points you get. You can blow into your iPhone’s microphone to blow the bubbles away.
Share your screenshots via email, Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr. This free app is amusing and adorable, fun for kids too. If you want to upgrade in-app for $.99, you can get the full version with more effects, more bubbles, and more images in your bubbles.
Swipe down to see the exact spots you need to tap and hold for love/hate mode switch, magical effects, and screenshot. Normally these spots are invisible so as not to interfere with the look of the app. Swipe up to access a menu that allows you to add a photo, change the background, choose your magic effect (sparkles or snowflakes), upgrade to the full version, turn the music on/off, and access the instructions screen.
