QuickAdvice: Popstar Physics (Save Toshi 2)
Popstar Physics (Save Toshi 2) (Free) by Nitako is the physics based sequel to Save Toshi DX. This follow-up game has you rescuing the anime pop star, Toshi, from evil demons who have locked up the dancing darling and are using her DNA to create zombified clones. This game is free for a limited time to celebrate its launch.
The game is similar to other physics based games. You have to perform an action that will have an effect on items on the screen and cause an event to take place, usually within a limited number of turns. In Popstar Physics, you must throw tennis balls at blocks in order to break or move them in such a way that they will crush the Toshi Zombies. Each level gets harder and includes more types of blocks or other obstacles for you to knock over.
The game play is addictive, even if it is similar to other games. The graphics are cute. The Toshi Zombies are green, lifeless replicas of the adorable pop star, complete with red mittens and a short skirt. The levels are hard, but not too hard. You are able to progress in ability as the game gets more difficult. While Save Toshi DX uses the same anime style as its predecessor, this time it uses zombies. For fans of the original, Toshi will not be dancing for you at the end of each level. She is locked in a dungeon, so there is no dancing for her. Don’t be upset though, you’ll see her again soon.
Overall, the game uses the same physics based format of the previous game and adds zombies in short skirts. Depending on your mood, this is either good or bad. Personally, I love zombies, no matter how you dress them up. This game is worth picking up for free. When it goes up in price, it may not be worth it if your iPad is already filled with other physics based games as this is another of the same ilk.
