Quirky App Of The Day: Fingerprint IQ Scanner

Today's app definitely gives me the giggles. It's not because I'm secretly only twelve years old and laugh about urine-based games or because it's an awesome game that revolves around launching cattle off the background mountains. This entertaining app comes from the developers being a little sneaky.
Fingerprint IQ Scanner is a great app to test out on that one friend that seems to have more air than gray matter between the ears. It's a harmless little game, but it provides laughs nonetheless. Simply place your thumb over the thumbprint on the screen until the screen changes. Then, you'll be prompted to count to ten out loud and click the next button. After that, you're provided with your IQ and an evaluation of whether it's high or low.
Here's where testing it out on your less-than-bright friend becomes the real treat. The developers designed the app so that a high IQ score is shown as being intelligence deficient, or a low IQ score is shown as being highly intelligent. I'm going to go ahead and remind readers that IQ scores do not, in fact, work like golf scores. Lower is not better. So, hearing someone getting excited about their low score being close to genius is pretty funny.
So, go ahead and take this IQ test out for a spin at your next family reunion or outing with your friends and have a blast hearing people compare scores.
