TurboGrafx-16 Gamebox Update Adds Five New Games

The developer, Hudson, has released to the App Store, an official emulator for the classic Turbo Grafx-16 gaming console. This game system was originally released in the late 80s and competed with Sega's and Nintendo's consoles. The emulator, called TurboGrafx-16 Gamebox, sports a bunch of great retro games, through separate in-app purchases, and has been just updated to version 1.4
This update adds five new games to the app's existing catalog of 26 titles. The five new games are: Raiden, Dragon's Curse, Shockman, Moto Roader, and Out Live. Raiden is a top-down arcade shooter with strong name recognition among retro gamers. The other titles are less well known, but worth checking out as well, if you enjoy late 80s or 90s-era gaming.
This brings the entire catalog to 31 games offered so far. Here is the list of the other 26 games supported by the emulator (from the app description):
It is great to see continued support for this emulator and others like Atari's Greatest Hits. Retro gaming and emulation possibilities are some of what makes the App Store so awesome. Lets hope more retro emulators and games keep finding their way to the App Store. TurboGrafx-16 Gamebox for iPhone can be downloaded for free and each of these games costs $2.99 as an IAP.
