The New York Times Digital Edition Is Running An Incredible Subscription Incentive With ZAGGmate
May 26, 2011
Now through June 30, 2011 The New York Times is offering a free ZAGGmate iPad keyboard case when you subscribe to the digital edition for 12 weeks. The case works with either the iPad or the iPad 2. There is no catch except the opportunity to read some fine journalism while typing your boss an email or posting to your personal blog.
There is no commitment beyond the 12-week subscription. The fine print states, “you may cancel at any time and keep the ZAGGmate.” If you do not plan to continue with your subscription, it is important to cancel or you will be automatically billed.
The case is only available in black and The New York Times logo is on the cover. If you don't want to advertise for them, there is probably a creative way to remove the writing or cover it with the many Apple logo stickers that are sitting in your drawer from previous purchases.
The New York Times app is a free download in the app store. Currently, if you are not a subscriber, you have limited access within the app and can only view 20 free articles each month. Subscribers will receive unlimited access to all content and can view 100 archived articles per month.
The total cost for the 12-week subscription and the ZAGGmate Keyboard is $105. If you have ever looked at the prices of both of these products separately, the total would be over $200. This is a steal for those who enjoy a great newspaper over their morning cup of coffee. More information on this outstanding offer is available here: NYTimes- ZAGGmate Offer.
