Memonic is a cloud-based note-taking service that is meant to help you streamline your personal or business life. The service allows you to capture basically any webpage, email, or document, and have all of this content instantly available at your fingertips no matter where you are.
Capturing content with Memonic is ridiculously simple. If you're on your home computer you can simply add the Memonic bookmark to your browser bar and whenever you want to capture a link, image or take a note regarding a page's content, just click the bookmark and a drop down menu will appear, allowing you to quickly add it to your account. You can also organize, edit and share your captured content from this menu.
All of your captured content can be accessed via a web portal or, if you're on the go, you can load it up on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad via the free Memonic app. The app features a the ability to add notes and attach an optional image, a search option, and the ability to hunt down notes and files via folders, tags or groups. You can also change the status of your notes to private, friends or public from the app itself. The free app automatically syncs to Memonic's servers over Wi-Fi or 3G, so no matter where you add content from, it will always be available anywhere and everywhere you are.
Memonic's service comes in two flavors: free and premium. The free option allows you to store a limited number of notes, create a limited number of groups, and features a 2MB attachment size limit. It also lacks gathering mode, which automatically saves clips and notes into a designated folder.
The premium option will set you back $28/year, but with it you get an unlimited number of notes, an unlimited number of groups, and a 20MB attachment size limit along with the aforementioned gathering mode.
