A Chance To Win A BookBuddy Promo Code With A Retweet Or Comment
June 3, 2011
AppAdvice has teamed up with Kimico in order to offer you a chance to win one of 10 promo codes for BookBuddy ($4.99) for iPhone and iPod touch.
BookBuddy is a dream come true for any iPhone- or iPod touch-toting book lover. It allows you to keep track of and manage your entire book collection no matter where you are without the need for an Internet connection.
The app features two ways to add books to your library. You can manually enter them or you can search Google Books by title, author or ISBN and BookBuddy will fill in all of the necessary information for you. You can then rate your book, star the author, choose the book's status or add notes.
Books can be placed into custom categories so you can easily find and keep track of them. If you have a huge library, you can also just search for the one you want instead.
The app also provides quick access to a personal book wish list, the ability to view a book’s webpage, and the ability to send recommendations to friends.
BookBuddy was recently updated with the ability to backup and restore your book catalogue via Dropbox, so you won't have to worry about going through the entire book entry process all over again.
To have a chance at winning one of three BookBuddy promo codes, simply hit that blue tweet button near the bottom of this page or retweet this post from your favorite Twitter app before 11:59 PM PDT tonight (June 3rd). We will then search the Twitterverse for all of the retweets and randomly choose our lucky winners. The winners will be notified via Twitter, so please be sure to follow us so we can send you your promo code via a direct message.
Non-Twitter users and those of you who want to increase your odds of winning can simply leave a relevant comment below before 11:59 PM PDT tonight to have a chance at winning one of the other seven promo codes.
Feel free to participate in the giveaway via either or both methods. Only one entry per person per method is allowed, totaling up to two entries per person if using both.
