Destroy Every Last Human With Super Goblin War Machine!
Super Goblin War Machine (Free) by Big Block Games is a dark adventure through towns filled with men, women and children. Are you tired of human oppression? So is the Goblin Horde! Help them obliterate every last human village. Design and build the ultimate war machine for the Goblin Horde and use it to destroy everything. The game isn’t just mindless destruction, according to the developers. There is an extensive amount of customization as well as challenging levels for all players.
The game is broken down with an overview of a map; each level is connected through a grid of lines. At first players will only have access to one level, but as they progress through levels, each one will unlock multiple levels as well as mini games. All of the levels follow the same concept; smash buildings, fire your weapon, and kill as many humans as possible.
The gameplay is simple, tilt your device to move, tap to fire, and shake to jump. Players must control their “war machine” through villages and use it to destroy everything. As players advance through villages they will also notice some of the humans attempting to attack them. From what I’ve noticed they can’t actually hurt you. In a realistic situation I suppose they would try to stop you though. Players can expect to see completely different gameplay in the mini games. There are two main mini games, “boulder bowling” and “crowning distance.” Two very unique mini games, the first involves launching a large boulder at humans. The other is a tricky game of keeping a king in the air by tilting your device to make him land on bombs to further carry him along.
While playing through the story mode players will also unlock new attachments for their war machine which can be customized. From the main menu a shop can be accessed where parts can be purchased and configured. The free version of the game includes 19 levels but there is an expansion pack that can be purchase in the app to unlock 17 more levels as well as more attachments for your war machine. Unlike other games the free version is not a “lite” version by any means. It is a full game and the expansion pack is just more content for those who really enjoy the game.
Overall for a free title, Super Goblin War Machine is a blast. Anyone with an iPad looking for a fun casual game should look into this. Though be aware, it might not be appropriate for a younger audience. With that said, be sure to look for it in the App Store.
