Hallowed Grounds Of Arlington Come To iPad

Cemeteries tell stories and nowhere is this more true than at Arlington National Cemetery, located outside of Washington, D.C. Now an amazing app, first released late last year, has received renewed attention thanks to this week’s Memorial Day remembrances.
Arlington National Cemetery by David Bernt is your personal guide around the site’s hallowed grounds. Along the way you’ll about many of those buried there along with photos of recent and historical events.
Included are several one-mile walking tours that will “immerse you in this solemn and hallowed environment.” Each virtual tour includes historical contributions and documents augmented with "Library of Congress photos corrected with GPS technology."

Regretfully, a promised Arlington National Cemetery app feature seems to have been forgotten. Every other month, the app promised an updated list of nominations from family members and friends. However, those nominations have not been changed since the app's most recent update in December. Hopefully, this is changed soon. Still, forget the expensive tours of Arlington National Cemetery.
