iOS Apps Gone Free: Trickle For Twitter, SkySafari 3, Chainsaw Zombie Slaughter, And More

Hairpaint ($.99 -> Free, 26.9 MB): Have you always wondered what you would look like with curly hair? How about frizzy hair? Well, Hairpaint can help you with that. Just import a photo from your library or take a new one, and then start applying your new hair. The app features several colors to choose from, four styles, and the ability to add body or facial hair.

Hairpaint is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 156 ratings.

Chainsaw Zombie Slaughter ($.99 -> Free, 14.2 MB): Zombies are falling from the sky, and it’s your job to cut them up into little pieces by standing directly under them with your chainsaw. If you miss a zombie, you will have to shoot it by tapping either side of the screen. The game features Retina graphics, progressive gameplay, three types of zombies, two gun types, and Game Center integration.

Chainsaw Zombie Slaughter is available for free today only (06/15). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 37 ratings. Universal:

Trickle for Twitter ($.99 -> Free, 867.2 KB): Trickle is a passive Twitter client that displays tweets individually, making them much easier to read while at your desk. The app features two different color schemes, an auto-rotation mode, multiple account support, search, the ability to retweet and favorite tweets, and more.

Trickle for Twitter is available for free until June 18th. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 5 ratings.

SkySafari 3 ($.99 -> Free, 51.6 MB): An intro version of SkySafari 3 that is able to display 120,000 stars along with 220 of the best-known star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies. It also includes encyclopedic descriptions of constellations, stars, and planets written by professional astronomers, and features hundreds of images from NASA space missions, the Hubble Space Telescope, and the world's foremost astro-photographers.

SkySafari 3 is available for free until June 18th. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 9 ratings.

Blokzilla ($.99 -> Free, 45 MB): This simple matching game requires you to find Bloks with the same pattern as quickly as possible. The faster you match Bloks, the more points you will earn, but it's harder than it sounds since they look very similar. The game features four modes, power-ups, and OpenFeint integration.
